Complement the Main Attraction with a Specially-Designed Groom’s Cake

What is a groom’s cake? It’s a gift from the bride to the groom that reflects his personality and interests in his favorite cake flavor.
Traditionally, groom’s cakes are a custom of the American South—however, belles from the south aren’t the only ones ordering specialty cakes for their hubbies-to-be! Groom’s cakes have been known to sneak their way into a rehearsal dinner or wedding reception in almost every area of the country.
Tradition dictates that the groom’s cake is to be boxed up prior to the reception and passed to guests, sometimes only single women, as wedding favors after the reception. In fact, superstition holds that if single women sleep with the slice under their pillow that night, they’ll dream of their own weddings. But as with so many wedding traditions, there are few rules anymore and (mostly) anything goes. The groom’s cake can be served at the rehearsal dinner, as additional cake at the reception, or to the bridal party post-reception.
Today, many couples use the groom’s cake as an opportunity to express their personality. The grooms’ cake is fun and not as serious as the wedding cake. Be creative!

Our round tiered cakes start at $4.00 per serving. Pricing is determined based upon the complexity of your cake—how much labor is involved, and the materials and ingredients used to create it.

If you must cancel, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We often have a waiting list of couples who would like an appointment, so we can accommodate them during that time.

Yes! We love the smooth, stylish, and very sophisticated look of rolled fondant. The base price for a fondant covered wedding cake is $6.00 per serving. However, we are known for our delicious buttercream frosting and we make every effort to get it as smooth as possible.

Although this option is less costly, the beauty, majesty, and overall visual impact of the towering bridal cake is compromised. We recommend ordering a cake large enough to serve all of your guests.

Because certain ornaments or figurines are too tall or heavy for the cake, we will need to see what you have in mind. You will be responsible to have them at the reception hall when the cake is delivered.
